SAJOOUST ELECTION NOMINATIONS

SUBJECT: COMENCEMENT OF SAJOOUST NOMINATIONS FOR
ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026

This is to bring to your attention that the election nominations begin on Tuesday
18th November, 2025 up to Friday 21ST November, 2025 at 1.00PM.

NB: Only eligible students will be allowed to present their nomination papers
a) Terms of the election nomination eligibility are as follows:
• Eligibility:
i) Only bonafide continuing JOOUST students will be nominated
ii) To be able to vie for elections, only students in years 1, 2 and 3 who have cleared
their household fee are eligible.

• Fees Charged:
The following fees are charged for student’s vying for the following positions:
i) President – Ksh. 5000 with valid 200 original list of signatures
ii) Deputy President – Ksh. 4,000 with valid 200 original list of signatures
iii) Treasurer - Ksh. 4,000 with valid 200 original list of signatures
iv) Secretary General - Ksh. 4,500 with valid 200 original list of signatures
v) Director - Ksh. 3,500 with valid 200 original list of signatures
vi) ECR- Electoral Congress Rep Ksh. 500 with valid 200 original list of signatures

The students should submit their nomination papers to the Directorate of Students Support
Services not later than Friday 21st November, 2025 at 1.00PM. Nomination papers will not be
accepted after 1.00PM.

NB: ALL STUDENTS MALE AND FEMALE ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE ABOVE
POSITIONS
