SEMESTER REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT OF FEES FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
This is to inform all KUCCPS placed students who have been newly admitted of the following
important guidelines, which must be strictly adhered to:
1. Semester Registration
(a) All students are expected to report to the University for the 2025/2026 Academic Year,
Semester One on 25th August 2025.
(b) Registration is compulsory and must be completed within two weeks (14 days) from the
official opening date of the semester.
(c) Important: Failure to pay fees, register, and sign the nominal roll within the stipulated period
will result in automatic deferment of studies.
2. Guidelines on Fees Payment
To complete registration as outlined above:
(a) Students must pay all applicable semester fees in full (including any outstanding balances from
previous years) either before or within the first two weeks of the semester.
(b) In line with the student-centered higher education model adopted by the Government of
Kenya:
a) Your household tuition fee contribution has been assessed and posted on your HELB
student portal.
b) You are required to pay the household component to be allowed to register.
3. Application for Government Scholarship and Loan
Applications for Government financial support are still open. Eligible students should apply for the
Government Scholarship and HELB Loan through the HEF portal at www.hef.co.ke.
Deadline: 31st August 2025.
4. Other Important Information
a) Admission to the University does not guarantee accommodation in the Halls of Residence.
Students not allocated University housing are required to make private arrangements.
b) This admission is subject to full compliance with the University’s Rules and Regulations.

5. Payment of Accommodation Fees
(a) Accommodation fees are charged separately and are not included in the household tuition fee
contribution.
(b) Students seeking University accommodation must pay the full annual accommodation fee of
Ksh. 5,800 upfront (not per semester).
(c) Room allocation will be done strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to
availability.

6. Payment Mode
You are required to follow the procedure below to pay fees through ecitizen. For any further

ecitizen Fee Payment Procedure
Step 1: Log-in to the student portal.
Step 2: On the dashboard click on make payment.
Step 3: Select a service from the drop-down e.g., Tuition fees.
Step 4: Input the amount to pay.
Step 5: Click pay now {a payment reference code and amount will pop up}.
Step 6: Select the payment mode M-Pesa and follow the stated procedures.
Step 7: Go to M-Pesa and make the payment using the pay-bill business number
222222 and reference code in step 5 as the account number.
Step 8: Go back to your student portal and click complete.
Step 9: Confirm the payment from your fee statement
