A Study to Tackle Food Security and Climate Challenges in Siaya County, Kenya

Bondo, Kenya – September 15th, 2025  - The Community Health Promoters (CHPs) and research assistants (RAs) collecting data for a study addressing the household food security, nutrition, climate change, and inclusive development is progress under the coordination of a research fellow at Centre of Community Health and wellbeing at JOOUST, Mr James Otieno and a postgraduate student, Ms Mercy Juma.

The progress demonstrates a research site ready for more collaborative research work.  Also demonstrate a working collaboration of the local and international collaborators: JOOUST, the University of Alberta (UoA) in Canada, and MCHDP/CPG, operating both in Kenya and Canada.
