Uncovering Kabras History: A Call to Action for All

The Kabras Council of Elders, with the ward Administrator and Representatives from the Kakamega County Department of Culture and Heritage, visited JOOUST in a request for potential partnership in Kabras community cultural heritage research, capacity building and outreach.

The meeting established that the Kabras community has a rich history and Cultural heritage that has not been documented. Their partnership with JOOUST will help in restoring and conserving their rich cultural heritage.Both parties agreed to form an MOU to guide their activities, which include joint proposal writing in request for funding to establish  Kabras Community Cultural Centre in Malava
