Background
Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time, with impacts that cut across ecological, social, and economic systems. Rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and shifting rainfall patterns affect food systems, public health, urban development, energy access, and financial stability. These impacts are interlinked—they interact with existing inequalities and create complex risks for communities, businesses, and governments.
