Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology shines in the World Scientist and University ranking July 2023
The Alper-Doger Scientific Index Ltd, World Scientist and University Rankings placed Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) at the 15th spot in their list of Universities and Research Institutions. Additionally, JOOUST secured the 9th position among Kenya's public Universities in the same ranking.
Among those featured were Professor Benson Estambale, the former Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Outreach (RIO) who was ranked the best scientist from JOOUST. Others featured were Prof. Stephen Agong’ the former Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Monica Ayieko, the Deputy Director and Principal Investigator, of the JOOUST Africa Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Use of Food and Feeds (INSEFOODS) among others.
