Advertisement for MSc Studentships

Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) is undertaking research projects; (1) in Kisumu, Nandi and Marsabit counties on the impact of climate change and health focusing on vector borne disease and

(2) in Kisii county to understand the biology of native Wolbachia strains in Anopheles mosquitoes
for use in malaria biological control. Consequently, several Masters Studentships are available in the 2
projects.

The projects invite applications from individuals who are registered for a master’s degree and completed
their taught sessions to spend upto 8 months at Dr. Shehu Awandu’s Lab at JOOUST including field
research sites.
